Things to Do
Tucson is a wonderful place to relax and spend time in the outdoors. We have everything from hiking to golf and everything in between. Below are some of the things that you can do both right around South 40 RV Ranch and area that take a little time to get to. But we can guarantee any travel plans you make you will not regret!
Golf
In Tucson, every day is a great day to golf! Because of our mild climate, golf courses are typically open 350 days a year. Combined with our award winning courses, that is a recipe for a great afternoon any time of year!

Hiking and Trails
Tucson sports five mountain ranges which for the most part are protected parklands. Tucson is more of a lush desert and offers quite a lot to see in trails, canyons, wildlife, local flowers and plants, bird-watching and much, much more. Bird Watching
We are a birder’s paradise. Southeastern Arizona is an incredibly diverse eco-system that boasts over 500 species of birds, even specialty birds like Gray Hawk, Red-faced Warbler, and Vermilion Flycatchers. Hummingbirds can also be viewed year round! Not many places will allow bird watchers a chance to view up to 150 or more species in a single day.
Local Shopping
Tucson is large enough to have just about every kind of store you would be used to seeing, but our local community markets have introduced a host of unique places to shop for art, antiques, jewelry and much more.
