October 2016 Newsletter

We have many new residents whom have either already joined our South 40 family or who will be arriving here soon. If you see someone new, please take the time to introduce yourself and to welcome our new guests to our wonderful park.

REMINDER:
The key that you are given upon your arrival at South 40 will allow entry to the following locks: west restroom, east restroom, the outside entrances to the Clubhouse restrooms, the pool and the laundry room. Clubhouse hours are 7am to approximately 11pm.

WE ARE EXTREMELY SADDENED TO ANNOUNCE the passing of Frank Rivera (#44). Frank and Betty have been part of our South 40 family for many, many years. Frank had a lot of friends here at South 40 and will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Rivera Family during their time of sorrow.

STOP SIGN AT EAGLE AVENUE
It has been brought to our attention that there are still people who do not stop at the stop sign on Eagle Avenue. If you run it and hit someone/something, you are at fault. Also remember to watch the one-way streets and keep in mind the speed limit in the park is 10mph. As the weather cools down, there will be many more people out walking and biking.

PLEASE do not drive through the sites at South 40
Even though someone is not physically in each site, they are probably rented out to a guest. It isn’t fun to come home to your yard all messed up because of cars driving through the yard. Please use the roads/watch for one-ways and be respectful to everyone staying at South 40.

Printing Cost Changes
With the rising prices of printing costs in our office, we have begun charging 10 cents per copy made and 75 cents per copy to send and to receive a fax.

Dinner and Activity Sign Ups
With the rise in our occupancy, it is of the utmost importance that you sign up for dinners/activities BEFORE the day of the event to allow DeDe and Barb time to purchase the food and to make plans for their scheduled events. Surprise guests make their job really hard. Should you sign up and find your plans have changed, please remove your name from the sign up sheets. They do add on a few extra plates for each meal, but we like to reserve those for guests who happen to stop by for an evening stay.

Items to Note

You have probably noticed that all the palm trees in the park have been trimmed. They look absolutely GORGEOUS!
